Join me in this super colourful and creative Ceramic Wine Tumbler Glazing Workshop, hosted in downtown Kelowna - the Mecca of BC Wine country.

Come learn specialized glaze decorating tips, techniques, and trade secrets to glaze 4 of your very own custom wine tumblers that are completely handmade and ready for everyday use. The wine tumblers are already wheel thrown and bisque fired by Kiln 9 Ceramics, and are just waiting to receive your designs, sarcasm or wit.

Let this marvellous 3-hour workshop take care of the details, just bring along your inspiration!

All skill-levels are welcome.
No experience needed just an open mind to the possibilities with surface decoration and glaze ideas.
Learn specialized and traditional glazing techniques, along with handy tips/tricks-of-the-trade.
Each participant may glaze 4 tumblers.

The class will begin with exploring various glazing methods, concepts and history followed by a demonstration after which it’ll be time to get glazing!

This course includes:

All demonstration and high-level instruction.
4 finished wine tumblers hand thrown by the instructor, ready to glaze.
Wide selection of professional equipment and tools.

(Please Note: this is a single-day creation workshop with glaze only!).

All completed projects will be dishwasher friendly!

After the workshop, your ceramics will glaze-fired. This may take up to 2 weeks due to kiln firing cycles.

Once your tumbler set is unloaded out of the kiln you will be notified for pick up.
